Found in a sacred forest, her family mysteriously disappeared. Among our youngest residents, she should still be clinging to her mother's back. One of our caregivers has taken on that role.

Akouba — the resilient one
Rescued in Abidjan when she was only about 3 years old, she suffered from severe malnutrition and lived in a dark room. But Akouba is a fighter, a bundle of love and emotional intelligence.

She arrived with a bullet in her skull. Esia needed time to recover physically and mentally. Her gaze could melt anyone's heart. She is flourishing beautifully in the bush.

Seized by authorities, Coco suffered the worst atrocities. Beaten, shot multiple times and with broken legs, he arrived terrified. After extensive rehabilitation work, he no longer goes out into the bush and continues his rehabilitation at the rescue centre.

A young female found chained by the roadside, destined to be sold. Her family was probably killed before her eyes. After her seizure, Bissap was entrusted to Akatia.
